Example Use Cases
- Use a question bank if you have a lot of questions you wan to ask in your Conversation, but you’re unsure if you will have time to get to them all during the Live session and would like to decide later.
- Question banks can be useful if you are intending to crowdsource ideas from your audience. You can find an example of this use case here.
How It Works
- After creating your Conversation, navigate to your Discussion Guide.
- Create a section in your discussion guide and name this “Question Bank.”
- Add questions to the question bank either by creating new questions or moving existing questions into that section.
- Mark the questions in this section as Optional. This will remove them from the estimated amount of time you’ll engage with participants, while keeping them in your Discussion Guide and giving you the option to send them Live.
- Conduct a practice session if you’d like to practice what it would feel like to use the question bank as you are moderating.
- During your Live Conversation, you can reference Question Bank questions throughout, edit them as needed and send to gather insights from your audience!
Question Examples
Note that some of the examples below would require you to “fill in the blank” during your Live Conversation.
- Ask Opinion: It looks like many of you mentioned (insert unclear common topic). Please share what (insert unclear common topic) means to you.
- Ask Opinion: It looks like many of you agreed with the statement (insert top % agree). What could we change to make this idea more (fill in blank).
- Rank: These are the most commonly mentioned phrases in the previous open end question. Please rank these in order with 1 being the one that resonates with you the least and 5 being the one that resonates with you the most. (Fill in rank options with common topics or the highest percent agree scores)
- Speak: Just a moment while I look through your responses!
