Onboarding Logic in Flex Conversations

Overview
With a Flex conversation, you can apply logic to Onboarding Poll questions that’ll trigger specific actions.
Included in this Article
Termination Logic
Programming termination logic will disqualify participants from joining the conversation if they select a specific response.
Terminate logic will supersede all other Onboarding Poll logic.

Start by adding your poll question and poll options.

Click on the Logic dropdown menu next to the poll option you want to use to disqualify participants and select Terminate.

Monitor the progress of your onboarding polls after your Flex conversation has begun on the Summary page. Here, you’ll be able to see how your audience is fulfilling the termination logic you’ve applied to the conversation.
Show Logic
Programming show logic will display an Onboarding Poll question to specific participants depending on the responses to a previous poll.

Start by adding your poll question and poll options.

In the top right corner of the poll, you’ll find the default display setting for the specific poll set to Always. Select Always to adjust the display settings.

A modal will appear; select the conditions participants must meet for the poll to display and click Done.

Must-select Logic
Programming must-select logic will disqualify participants from joining the conversation if they DO NOT select specific responses in a Multi-select Onboarding Poll.

Start by adding your Multi-select Poll question and poll options.

Click on the Logic dropdown menu next to the poll options you want participants to choose to qualify for the conversation and select Must-select.

Navigate to the Must Select tab above the poll options to choose the number of poll options participants have to pick to qualify for the conversation: Any or All.
