Recommended: Conference Line and Observer Links
Our recommended way of engaging with a Live Conversation is to host the Remesh experience alongside a conference line. This conference line allows all relevant parties to speak freely throughout the Conversation and collaborate on potential follow up questions.
-
Assign Roles
- Moderator: The person who will be leading the Remesh Conversation with participants by sending items, making edits and crafting follow up questions.
- Observers: Can view and analyze the conversation but cannot make any changes.
- Back Up Moderator (Optional): Someone who can jump in to help the moderator in the event that the primary moderator experiences an internet outage or other challenge.
- Send our Technology Considerations to the IT Departments associated with any of the observers and moderators to ensure smooth access.

Send a calendar invitation. Send your Calendar invitation to all observers. Include moderator(s) as well. If you’d like, you can use the example text below:
You're invited to observe a Remesh Conversation! Remesh is an insights platform that hosts a texting-like Conversation between our team and a group of participants in real time. During the session, we'll see messages from participants in their own words, use AI and machine learning to quickly make sense of the data, and discuss on our conference line if we'd like to ask follow up questions.
No less than 24 hours before the designated start time, we recommend looking through Remesh's Observer Guide and click the Observer link to confirm that you can get access. For colleagues visiting the Remesh platform for the first time, you will be prompted to confirm your email, and create a login - it takes just a few minutes.
On the day of the Conversation, please join the conference line and access the Observer Link below. We'll explore the data on the Observer Link while discussing findings on the conference line. As a reminder, participants will not be able to see or hear you.Platform Observer Link: {Insert observer link here}
On the day of the Conversation, everyone will access the conference line. In addition, observers will access the Observer Link and Moderators will access the Moderate space by logging into the platform and clicking the Live button.
Throughout the Remesh Conversation, observers and Moderators can analyze data and communicate freely to ask questions or collaborate on possible follow up questions.
Conference Line Without Observer Links
Rather than having key stakeholders access an Observer Link, you can opt to have someone present throughout the Live Conversation and walk others through the data. We recommend this if your team is not looking for input on the discussion guide or would like to limit the access that non-moderators have to the Conversation.
- Schedule your Live Conversation
- Assign Roles.
- Moderator: The person who will be leading the Remesh Conversation with participants by sending items, making edits and crafting follow up questions.
- Presenter: Someone who will access an Observer Link and share their screen throughout the Conversation. Often this person will narrate over the experience calling out interesting data points.
- Key Stakeholders: Anyone who you would like to experience the Conversation and potentially have a say in how the discussion may shift or change
- Back Up Moderator (Optional): Someone who can jump in to help the moderator in the event that the primary moderator experiences an internet outage or other challenge.
- Set up Observer Links. Send your Observer Link to your presenter.
- Send our Technology Considerations to the IT Departments associated with any of the observers and moderators to ensure smooth access.
- Send a calendar invitation. Send your Calendar invitation to moderator, presenter and any stakeholders including the conference line.
On the day of the Conversation, everyone will access the conference line. Presenter will access the Observer Link and Moderators will access the Moderate space by logging into the platform and clicking the Live button. The Presenter will share their screen and explore and analyze throughout the Conversation.
Throughout the Remesh Conversation, key stakeholders can communicate freely to ask questions or collaborate on possible follow up questions.
Just Observer Links
If you’d prefer, you can send observer links to stakeholders and save communication for after your Conversation! We recommend this method if your moderator would prefer no input on how the Remesh Conversation may adjust and change in the moment.

- Send a calendar invitation. Send your Calendar invitation to all observers, letting them know that they will not access a conference line, and will simply access the Observer Link which will allow them to explore the data on their own.
On the day of the Conversation, observers will access the Observer Link and Moderators will access the Moderate space by logging into the platform and clicking the Live button.
Throughout the Remesh Conversation, Observers can observe the data while the Moderator moderates the Conversation separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What should I do if I'm conducting a Flex Conversation?
Since Flex Conversations take place over the span of days rather than hours and participants respond asynchronously, we do not recommend hosting a discussion space with a conference line. Instead, you may want to send an email to key stakeholders with the observer link after your Flex begins collecting responses. They can use the Observer link to analyze data as it is being collected throughout the course of your Flex Conversation. - What should I do if my observers are having trouble accessing their observer link?
Check to make sure that their domain has been whitelisted on your Observer settings. If they are still not able to access, ask them to check their spam folders for their verification email, it will be from "noreply@remesh.ai." If they haven't received the email, there may be an IT issue within their organization. We recommend that another Observer share their screen while the affected user contacts their IT department and reviews our Technology Considerations
