Create Your Remesh Conversation with Remy

This article is relevant to Live and Flex Conversations. You can find more information about our product offerings here.

Overview

Remy can help you create a Remesh Conversation directly from your chat. You can use Remy to create a Conversation from a Discussion Guide, create an empty draft Conversation, or add a Discussion Guide to an existing Conversation.

Remy creates Conversations as drafts. Nothing is published or launched automatically. Once Remy creates or updates the Conversation, you can review and publish it from the Build page.

Getting Started

To create a Conversation with Remy, you need:

  • Access to a team in your workspace.
  • Generative AI (LLM) enabled for your Workspace and at least one team.

Access Remy by clicking the button on your home page to get started.

How it Works

Simply ask Remy to create a Conversation to begin. Remy will begin to ask you questions one at a time to build out the information it needs to create the Conversation for you.

This process is highly customizable, and allows you to either utilize Remy to complete tasks or decide to input data on your own. Below are a few examples of ways you might customize this process.

What you want to do When to use it
Create a Conversation from a Discussion Guide in Remy You created and confirmed a Discussion Guide with Remy and want to add it to a new Conversation.
Create an empty draft Conversation You want to create the Conversation now and add the Discussion Guide later.
Add a Discussion Guide to an existing Conversation You already created the Conversation and want Remy to add your confirmed Discussion Guide to it.

Create a Conversation from a Discussion Guide

After Remy creates a Discussion Guide and you confirm it, you can ask Remy to create a Conversation from that guide.

To create a Conversation from a Discussion Guide:

  1. Confirm the Discussion Guide in your chat with Remy.
  2. Ask Remy to create a Conversation from the Discussion Guide.
  3. Provide the Conversation name and language when Remy asks.
  4. Choose the team the Conversation should belong to.
  5. Remy will create a draft Conversation, add your Discussion Guide, and return a link to the Conversation.

Remy uses the most recently confirmed Discussion Guide in the current thread. If you revised and confirmed a newer version of the Discussion Guide, Remy will use that version.

Create an Empty Draft Conversation

You can also ask Remy to create a blank Conversation if you want to build the Discussion Guide later.

For example, you could ask:

  • Create an empty Conversation called Q3 Brand Tracker.
  • Make me a blank Conversation. I’ll add the Discussion Guide later.

Remy will create a draft Conversation without a Discussion Guide and return a link to the Conversation. You can then add questions through the normal Builder options.

Add a Discussion Guide to an Existing Conversation

If you already created a Conversation, Remy can add your confirmed Discussion Guide to that Conversation instead of creating a new one.

To add a Discussion Guide to an existing Conversation:

  1. Confirm the Discussion Guide in your chat with Remy.
  2. Send Remy the target Conversation link or Conversation ID.
  3. Ask Remy to add or apply the Discussion Guide to that Conversation.
  4. Remy will check that you have access to the Conversation.
  5. If you have access, Remy will add the Discussion Guide and return a link to the updated Conversation.

For example, you could ask:

  • Add this Discussion Guide to [Conversation link].
  • Apply this Discussion Guide to Conversation [Conversation ID].

Remy checks that you are a member of the target Conversation’s Workspace before making changes. If you do not have access, Remy will let you know and will not update the Conversation.

Review Your Conversation

When Remy successfully creates or updates a Conversation, it will return a card with a link to the Conversation’s Build page.

Use the Build page to:

  • Review your Discussion Guide

  • Set up your audience
  • Confirm your Conversation settings
  • Publish when you are ready

Troubleshooting

Remy says it cannot find a confirmed Discussion Guide

Remy needs a confirmed Discussion Guide in the current thread before it can create a Conversation from one or add one to an existing Conversation. Generate and confirm a Discussion Guide first, or ask Remy to create an empty draft Conversation instead.

Remy created a new Conversation, but I wanted to use an existing one

Send Remy the existing Conversation link or ID and use language like “add to” or “apply to.” This helps Remy understand that you want to update an existing Conversation instead of creating a new one.

Remy says I do not have access to the Conversation

You need access to the target Conversation’s Workspace before Remy can add a Discussion Guide to it. Confirm that you have access to the Conversation, or ask Remy to create a new Conversation instead.

Remy asked me to choose a team and did not recognize my answer

Type the team name as Remy listed it. If Remy still does not recognize your answer, copy and paste the exact team name from Remy’s list.
